Launch of Solar PV Greenhouse

Polysolar are launching a new range of quality UK manufactured greenhouses incorporating Polysolar's revolutionary transparent photovoltaic glass.  The greenhouse kits come ready for installation and have the advantage of delivering a solution to those who can't install PV on the roof of their homes, either due to planning or positioning.  The greenhouses which come in a range of sizes and options are manufactured by Cambridge Glasshouse suppliers to the National Trust and come with a lifetime guarantee.

The Solar PV glass not only generates renewable electricity to feed into the home but also enhances the growing conditions in the greenhouse despite reducing the light levels.  Tests on our Carbon Free plant factory have shown that the PV glass protects plants from UV scorching and maintains the temperature in the greenhouse at more constant levels so plant growth in enhanced.

New Glass PV Tiled Roof Design

Polysolar have completed their first new PV glass tile roof installation on a domestic property in Cambridge.  Working in partnership with OMT of Germany. Polysolar have designed a new mounting system for their opaque thin film glass modules.  The unique design enables the panels to overlap each other like a tiled roof providing an effective water proof roof that looks highly attractive as an entire roof finish.  The client described the system as " highly contemporary yet in keeping with the building and its surroundings".  "This is what PV should be - part of the building fabric and still an attractive element of the structure"
