Polysolar have completed their first new PV glass tile roof installation on a domestic property in Cambridge. Working in partnership with OMT of Germany. Polysolar have designed a new mounting system for their opaque thin film glass modules. The unique design enables the panels to overlap each other like a tiled roof providing an effective water proof roof that looks highly attractive as an entire roof finish. The client described the system as " highly contemporary yet in keeping with the building and its surroundings". "This is what PV should be - part of the building fabric and still an attractive element of the structure"
Leaders in transparent solar photovoltaic glazing. Manufacturers and distributors of thinfilm PV and third generation organic polymer PV aimed at the building integrated market.
